Ideas for a short movie?

Hi there, fellow blog readers! I didn't have time to write a proper blog post, only putting youtube links and pictures, and now at last I'm actually writing something here. Yay! :D
Here's the thing: I found that Stock Exchange company NASDAQ OMX Vilnius is organizing a short video contest. The main idea of the movie should be showing how to get your money "working", like you have an X amount of money, and you want it to become bigger, what will you do to make the amount grow and how to start making profit from Stock Exchange? I'm planning to participate in this contest because I'm interested in economics and stock markets, but I'm struggling to generate ideas for this short movie because :/ Maybe anyone of readers have any experience in making movies and have some ideas to share? If you have any, be sure to share them with all of us in the comments, I would appreciate this :) Thanks!

All the "Simpsons" fans out there will know what i'm talking about. Guys at collegehumour (i love them) put all the McBain's clips together and guess what, it turned out as a short movie, even with a continuous plot. What do you think about it?
